I think this is the very first time that I have written a review but that is how much we were impressed and delighted with our experience at McGuire Diamonds. After having gotten engaged last Christmas, we had to wait until recently for shops to reopen to go ring hunting.
First met Eric and I had a pretty tight schedule for a ring to be made. Eric got the ball rolling straight away and in my now Fiance’s words made her “dream ring”. Can’t thank Eric enough and i can guarantee that the quality wont be matched

Eric @ McGuires Jewellers looked after myself & my fiance. He made the most incredible ring I've ever seen. He didn't put us under any pressure to buy, in fact he encouraged us to look at other rings too & not to buy the first one I tried on. He encouraged me to try on different shape rings - even though I thought I knew exactly what I wanted. In the end I was delighted he did because I ended up going for a ring that was quite different! He was so nice, friendly & relaxed & made thE whole experience very special for us. I cant thank him enough for this. I went out of my way a little when I discovered McGuires online. Rather than visit the usual traditional engagement jewellers in Dublin I decided to try out McGuires. Within 10 minutes of speaking with Eric and Mary it was obvious to me that I'd made the right choice. Same as most men, I didn't know exactly what to look for in a diamond. Eric took the time to educate me with the technical details of diamonds and the related certification. I was genuinely impressed with the time and effort they invested in me and my fiancé (she said yes!) when we returned.

I am based in Dublin and honestly cannot recommend Eric and McGuire Diamonds enough if you are searching for your engagement ring. I won't lie, I was quite picky, I had an idea of what I wanted and had been trying on rings in a number of jewellers in Dublin for about a month. A friend of a friend recommended Eric, she had dealt with him previously and couldn't speak highly enough. We only had to travel down to Wexford once, Eric completely got what I was looking for, down to the tiniest of details and he was just really lovely to deal with and gave his honest opinion.
From start to finish McGuires Jewellers were amazing in helping us find our engagement ring! They helped us customise exactly what we wanted. My fiancé just picked it up today and is beaming from ear to ear! Thank you so much!

Great place! Great selection, extremely knowledgeable of diamonds and of the industry itself. Most relaxed jewellery shop I've been to with no pressure to buy. Prices are very reasonable too. Staff are excellent with customer service and follow through also. Definitely worth a visit for any engagement ring hunters out there!

He even told us to shop around but after a day on Grafton's street, nothing came close to the rings I had seen in his shop and we finally purchased there. Such a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, there was an excellent selection in the shop and we met Eric who instantly made an impression with us. Where to start? We came across McGuire Diamonds last October by chance, walked in with no knowledge or notions of what type of ring we wanted. I lived in Wexford for 11 years. I absolutely loved going to Eric's shop. It was an Aladdins Cave of wonderful jewellery and Eric was always so helpful. I love all the beautiful items l bought from him, pearls, rings and earrings. No problem for him to clean your rings while you were shopping or valuations for insurance. I miss him dreadfully since moving to Dublin. No wonder he was the Jeweller of the Year 2018. Delighted for him.

My husband firstly went to visit Eric in ‘McGuire Diamonds’ to have a look at rings for the big proposal!!.
