Refund policy

We want your online purchases to be a pleasant and problem free experience. If you are unsure of any item before you purchase online, please do not hesitate to contact us using any of our contact methods and we may be able to help you in advance of your purchase.

Order Placement & Purchasing

1. Place your desired item(s) into the shopping basket.

2. A detailed breakdown of your selection can be viewed in the order summary

3. Upon finalising your order, you'll receive an email confirmation from McGuire Diamonds.

4. McGuire Diamonds will subsequently assess your order and the pricing of the specified stones and bands. Should there be any differences between the prices shown on our website and the actual prices, or if your order isn't available, we will promptly inform you.

5. McGuire Diamonds will dispatch your item(s) and provide you with a delivery confirmation via email. This action finalises the sales agreement between you and McGuire Diamonds. Upon this confirmation, the sales contract between us is complete. We will let you know as soon as your item(s) are ready for collection or shipping.

6. When ordering items ("Goods") online from McGuire Diamonds, the final details of your purchase will appear on the "Order Summary" page. After reviewing these details, you can proceed with placing your order ("Order"). Post-order, you'll immediately receive an email confirming its receipt ("Order Confirmation"). Such an email doesn't imply a binding acceptance of the order unless explicitly stated.

7. For security purposes, we don't offer direct access to your purchase details on our website post-order. We advise saving or printing the order confirmation email for your records. For information regarding past purchases, please reach out to us directly.

8. Displaying goods on our website doesn't serve as a binding offer to enter a sales contract. By placing an order, you're presenting an offer to McGuire Diamonds to form a sales agreement. Receiving an order confirmation post-purchase doesn't equate to acceptance of this offer. In shipping cases, a sales agreement is only sealed when both the ordered item(s) and delivery confirmation have been sent to you. If collecting items from one of our locations, the sales contract is realised when we send a confirmation acknowledging the acceptance of your order.

Refunds & Exchanges

If for any reason you wish to return or exchange a purchased item, McGuire Diamonds offer an exchange or refund option to our customers within 15 days of purchase with a valid receipt. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and in the original packaging with all supporting documentation.

We do not provide refunds for orders without receipts.

We do not cover the cost of postage for change of mind.

Non-returnable Items Include:

  • Commissioned (handmade to order) jewellery

  • Gift Cards

  • Sale Items

  • Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged, missing parts or documentation for reasons not due to our error.

Gifts

If your item was a gift and you do not have a valid receipt or proof of purchase, we will provide an exchange for an alternative item from our range to the same monetary value.
To be eligible for an exchange in this instance we require the name of the person who purchased the gift so that we can confirm from our records that it falls within our exchange criteria.

Returns

To return your product, you should post or ship your item in its original condition with the receipt or proof of purchase directly to:

Please note:

Shipping costs are non-refundable, you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. If you receive a refund, the cost of original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
In any instance of a piece of jewellery being faulty, we will of course refund the cost of any return postage, this is processed in the same payment manner as was used to place the original order.

McGuire Diamonds is not responsible for lost or stolen packages returned to us by our customers. We advise that you use a registered track and trace service, providing you with proof of shipping and a signature on delivery to give you peace of mind that we will receive your returned item. Once your return is received, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Any credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Please allow up to 14 days for a refund to be processed. We apologise for any inconvenience this delay may cause, we endeavour to process all returns and exchanges as quickly as possible.

Orders Cancelled by Us

Occasionally due to stock or production issues we may have to cancel items within your order if we are unable to fulfil them. We will not have charged your card at this point, so the order will be voided and the original card authorisation reversed. This should not result in any charge to your card. Please note that some banks display authorisation requests on cards on their online banking, but this is not a debit from your account.
